Syabrubesi to Kerung
Cross the Nepal–Tibet border at Rasuwagadhi and continue to Kerung. Approx. 120 km / 4 hours.

Kerung to Saga
Travel across the Tibetan landscape via Thong La and La Lung, with views of Lake Peiku Tso. Approx. 170 km / 5 hours.

Acclimatization in Saga
Acclimatization day with optional short walks around Saga.

Saga to Lake Mansarovar
Drive via Paryang to sacred Lake Mansarovar, surrounded by Mount Kailash and the Tibetan Himalayas. Approx. 277 km / 6 hours.

Lake Mansarovar to Darchen
Morning prayers and rituals at Lake Mansarovar, Parikrama by vehicle, then continue to Darchen.

Darchen • Yamadwar • Dirapuk
Begin the three-day Mount Kailash Kora via Tarboche and Yamadwar, trekking to Dirapuk near the North Face of Mount Kailash.

Dirapuk to Juthulpuk via Drolma La
The most demanding Kora day, crossing Drolma La Pass at 5,650m and passing Gauri Kunda before reaching Juthulpuk.

Complete Kora • Return to Saga
Complete the Kailash Kora, visit the Milarepa Cave area and return by road to Saga.

Saga to Kerung
Return across the Tibetan plateau to Kerung. Approx. 170 km / 5 hours.

Kerung to Kathmandu
Complete border formalities and return to Kathmandu, with time for souvenir shopping.
